‘Attacks on Northlands, Spectre sponsored by Uhuru, Raila’ – Cherargei claims
Nandi senator Samson Cherargei has come out to dismiss claims that President William Ruto’s administration sponsored attacks on former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Northlands city in Ruiru, Kiambu county and Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s family company E.A spectre in Embakasi, Nairobi.
Taking to his Twitter account, Cherargei vehemently called out the leaders for sponsoring the attacks to seek public sympathy. The outspoken senator also claimed that the leaders planned the attacks in hopes to charge the ongoing protests.
“The attacks against Northlands & E.A spectre intl Co. Ltd were sponsored by Tinga & his sponsor Uhuru for public sympathy addiction with the hope that their barren maandamanos can be jump-started,” he claimed.
“Uhuru & Tinga wakae karibu na lucozade game ndio sasa inaanza energizer muhimu!.” he added.

Goons invaded Uhuru’s family estate, cut down trees and stole livestock before setting it on fire.
While the goons stormed Kenyatta’s property, a separate group riding on motorcycles invaded Raila’s family company. They (goons) pelted the building with stones before breaking windowpanes.
Raila while alleging that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was behind the attacks condemned the incidents terming them as foolish acts of cowardice.
Other national leaders led by former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga also condemned the incidents noting that the current regime may be using police to destroy property and cause mayhem during protests before blaming the Azimio faction.
“The so-called goons could be police paid to destroy property. The organisers of the demonstrations are then blamed,” Mutunga wrote.
