The Agano party presidential candidate David Mwaure yesterday called upon Kenyans to exercise restraint ahead of the general elections slated to happen tomorrow.
Mwaure who fellowshipped at World Changers International Christian Church in Githurai, Ruiru Constituency reminded Kenyans to uphold peace and unity regardless of the outcome of Tuesday’s elections.
The presidential hopeful insisted that leaders are appointed by God and whichever way the elections will go, politicians in the race for various elective positions should accept the results and allow Kenyans to continue with their activities. He however upheld the need for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to remain neutral in their refereeing duty and urged them to desist from any sort of monkey business that could quash the entire activity.
Country’s leadership
Mwaure further told Kenyans to massively undertake their constitutional right of voting to ensure they participate in determining the country’s leadership for the next five years.
“There is hope for Kenya and a great future for the nation. God loves us and for the voters, it is your constitutional right to vote, do this early to even make it easy for the returning officers to count the votes,” he said.
