KVF elections evokes interest from new aspirants
The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Annual General Meeting-cum elections penciled for July 30 is increasingly eliciting a lot of interest in the sport’s landscape in the country as candidates prepare to jostle for various seats.
Experienced national women team, Malkia Strikers Coach Paul Bitok is in the race for the Deputy President post.
Already, Bitok has said his last assignment as Coach will be the World Championship to be co-hosted by Poland and Netherlands in August as he ventures into volleyball politics.
The former Kenyan International is looking to transit to the top seat which has been held by incumbent Waithaka Kioni for a lengthy time. Kioni will be serving his second and final term as per both the Sports Act and KVF Constitution.
