Matungulu MP Stephen Mule has warned President William Ruto that his association with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will be the cause of his downfall by 2027.
The MP who is also a member of the Wiper party made reference to Raila’s past associations with former Presidents Moi, Kibaki and Uhuru, saying it always destabilised their governments.
Mule said the merger of Kanu and Raila’s National Development Party (NDP) after the 1997 general election eventually led to the collapse of the former ruling party while his handshake with Uhuru also caused friction within the Jubilee government leading to the isolation of then Deputy President William Ruto.
Downfall imminent
Mule warned that this time round, it is Kenyans who will abandon Ruto and Raila in favour of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka come 2027.
“You have invited Raila Odinga to your government but I want to assure you in 2027, it is not Raila who will cause your downfall but it is Kenyans who will abandon you because of the problems that you have caused them,” said Mule.
The parliamentarian was speaking at a burial ceremony at Kyeleni location with in his constituency at the weekend.
The MP cited the hiking of school fees as one of the misfortunes that the current regime had overseen.
The Wiper MP urged all Kenyans to rally behind party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to redeem the country from ‘neo-colonialism’ being advanced by the present government.
