Kalonzo to challenge Adani

Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka is expected in court this Monday to file an injunction preventing the Kenyan government from awarding the management of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to India’s Adani Group.

Kalonzo first revealed his plans on Friday during a visit to Kisii, where he stressed the importance of transparency in such significant agreements. “Even if such deals are to happen, there must be openness,” he said.

Reiterating his stance on Sunday in Kajiado, Kalonzo argued that the deal appears to benefit a select group of government officials at the expense of Kenyan taxpayers.
