Tob Cohen’s family and his widow, Sarah Wairimu, have set Monday, September 23, 2019 as burial date for the slain Dutch tycoon.

This comes after the two parties agreed on burial arrangements.

Wairimu, who was charged with Cohen’s murder, will attend the ceremony set to be held at a Jewish cemetery on Wangari Maathai Road in Nairobi.

Wairimu’s lawyer Philip Murgor and her sister-in-law Van Struaten’s lawyer Cliff Ombeta agreed to have the burial certificate handed to their clients.

“The burial rites will be in accordance with Jewish rites by the concerned community leaders,” the two lawyers said in a statement.

Wairimu’s lawyer, Murgor, said they will request the court to release the body for burial.

The postmortem on the body of Cohen was successfully conducted on Wednesday, but the results cannot be published by the media because of a gag by the court.
