Wazito to unveil new coach on Thursday

By , October 23, 2019

Struggling Kenyan Premier League side Wazito FC are set to unveil a new coach at 11am Thursday at their offices located along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.

Club owner Ricardo Badoer fired head coach Fred Ambani and technical director Stanley Okumbi three days ago just six matches into the season after the team managed just one win from the opening six matches despite spending heavily on new players.

The team made a return to the top flight after winning the National Super League (NSL) title and was expected to challenge for the KPL gong owing to Badoer’s investment but it has been a disappointment so far as they sit 13th on the 18-team log with six points.
