University of Nairobi Basketball side Terror continues to register impressive perormance in the ongoing Kenya National Basketball League.

The University of Nairobi men’s team Terror came from the back to gas out Eldonet from Eldoret with a 77-65 result at the Nyayo Gymnasium.

Eugene Kelman’s charges had begun on a low note, allowing the opponents to dominate in the early stages. The first quarter of the match saw both teams go close as Eldonets led 17-16 and in the second run, Terror led by 16-14.

As the match progressed, Terror took charge ahead of the opponents with some fresh legs from the bench. Terror’s Collins Nyamweya was the standout player assisted by Harris Odala with their power drives being the difference.

On the other hand, the visiting Eldonets had Carlos Kariuki and Kelvin Getamba being the fulcrum of the team.

The ingenuity of Meshack Omondi on the dribble, pass and shooting was something to awe about as Eldonets threatened a coup in the early stages before their energy ran out prompting a surge by UoN.

In the ladies’ matches, UON Dynamites picked two routine wins against Eagle Wings and Eldonets in the space of 24 hours. In the first encounter, Dynamites beat Eldonets 60—48 before seeing off Eagle Wings by a 20 margin score of 56-36. .
