GAMING: Local punters have a reason to smile after leading betting firm SportPesa yesterday announced a new product where a gamer would be able place a bet with as low as a Sh 10 stake.

The betting firm substantially cut the price by 80 per cent to attract more gamers. The 80 per cent stake reduction will apply to all bets except the company’s jackpots which will still cost Sh 99 per stake.

“This is in response to requests by our customers on new offerings that they can engage in on our platform. It is simply us telling the customer that we are listening and this is just the beginning of what else is to come,” said SportPesa Chief Executive Officer Ronald Karauri.
