Shabana seek redemption against AFC Leopards in fierce FKF PL midweek clash

By , October 29, 2025

Shabana FC will look to bounce back to their winning ways when they host former champions AFC Leopards in the sixth round of the 2025/2026 Kenyan Premier League on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Gusii Stadium.

Ahead of the encounter, the home side will be in desperate search of maximum points after going three matches in a row without a win. The Glamour Boys lost 1-0 to visiting Mathare United in their latest outing at their Gusii backyard.

Before Mathare’s defeat, the team had lost 2-1 to Posta Rangers at the same venue, after sharing spoils with Tusker FC at Kasarani Stadium before the international break.

However, it may not be a walk in the park for Shabana, as they face an unpredictable side of AFC Leopards, who remain unbeaten in the league. After registering three draws on the bounce, Ingwe recorded their first win of the current season with a 2-1 win over KCB at the weekend.
