Oduor to officiate 100th match at Kenya Cup final, tickets go for Sh200

Victor Oduor will hit a milestone this weekend when he takes charge of his 100th match after being named as the center referee for Saturday’s Kenya Cup final between defending champions Kabras Sugar and KCB where tickets will be going for Sh200.

The match kicks off at 3pm on Saturday at the Kakamega Showground. The Ngecho Secondary School Librarian is a World Rugby Level 3 Accredited Match Official and has been the Secretary of Rift Valley Rugby Referees Society since 2014.

He also serves on the Rugby Africa Match Officials panel, is a World Rugby Match Officials Educator as well as being the Kenya Rugby Union’s Regional Development Officer for the South Rift region.

Oduor, who has also previously officiated at the World Rugby Junior Trophy as well as various Rugby Africa continental fixtures will be assisted by Constant Cap and Duncan Kioko with Willy Ombisi serving as the match commissioner.
