Nyamweya reaches out to Tore Bore chairman Nivaton for crisis meeting to discuss status of club

By , February 21, 2024

Shabana FC patron Sam Nyamweya is now demanding that the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) club should convene an urgent crisis meeting to discuss their poor performances in the Premier League.

A week ago, Nyamweya hinted at convening an urgent crisis meeting in a move aimed at helping the Kisii-based Glamour Boys win their remaining matches and keep their status in the top flight.

Nyamweya has now engaged club chairman Jared Nivaton and prevailed upon him to take the meeting issue as a matter of urgency before matters get out of hand.

“We seem to be having a crisis in Shabana as you are aware, due to the poor performance of the team which if no action is taken will have the team relegated,” read part of Nyamweya’s statement sent to all club officials.

Adding: “You are also aware that we had a management meeting late last year which you attended and agreed on the way forward to support the team. As a follow up, I request for an urgent meeting tomorrow Wednesday 21st February 2024 at 4:00pm at Hill Park Hotel. Kindly but urgently ask the management to attend so that we can avert this situation which is not welcomed by our fans. Your quickest action on this urgent matter will be highly appreciated.”

Shabana currently sit second from the bottom of the table with 18 points.
