Mansur Suleiman: At 19, I have several million shillings

Speaking during a TV interview on Sunday, August 17, 2025, Mansur indicated that talent pays and that he has no plans of furthering his studies.
“At 19 years of age, I have several million shillings to my name, and I thank God. I have completed my high school education, and I have no intention of furthering my studies because I want to concentrate on football,” Mansur said.
Talent pays
“This is my talent, and for sure, talent pays. So, I decided to focus on growing my talent. So far, so good. I am grateful for where I am in life.”

Mansur has been instrumental in the solid defence of Harambee Stars, which has ensured that teams find it difficult to score against the Kenyan side.
If Kenya beats Madagascar in their quarter finals match slated for Friday, August 22, 2025, Mansur and his teammates are expected to cement their millionaire status by another Ksh70 million if they proceed to the semis.
Versatile player
As a player, Suleiman is known for his versatility, primarily playing as a left-footed center-back but capable of also operating as a left-back or in a defensive midfield role.

Harambee Stars players have also gathered millions along the campaign. Each player and member of the technical bench is now at least Ksh5.5 million richer courtesy of a cash incentive by President William Ruto.
On top of that, Harambee Stars were promised Ksh60 million for qualifying for the quarter finals and Ksh70 million for a seat at the semis. Ruto equally promised a huge payout of Ksh600 million if they win the tournament.
