Leopards and Gor back to winning ways as Shikangwa scores 4 in Tanzania

AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia returned to winning ways as three FKF premier league rescheduled ties concluded this Wednesday, January,22, 2025.
Kelly Madada inspired Leopards to a 4-2 victory over KCB in Muranga as Gor downed Sofapaka 2-0 in Machakos Country stadium..
Kenya Police thrashed Bandari 3-0 in another clash. Jesse Were, Clinton Kinanga and Marvin Nabwire bagged the goals for the law enforcers.
Ken Owino and Ovellla Ochieng got Ingwe on a good start but the Bankers matched the efforts through Stephen Etyang and Francis Kahiro to see the game head into the break even.
Leopards however proved the better side of the final half with Kelly Madada spearheading the Bankers’ downfall.
Coming off a 4-2 defeat to Talanta, Leopards proved well taught as Madada’s struck twice to inspire the leap to fifth on the pile.
In Machakos stadium, goals from Geoffrey and Sharrif Musa in either half saw Gor join Ingwe on the win in the rescheduled ties.
The clash proved a tight encounter with Ochieng’s goal breaking the deadlock in the first half before Musa’s 70th strike insured the points for the hosts.
