KPA pip Ethopia as Africa volleyball games throw-off

Kenya’s representatives in the on-going 2022 men’s African Volleyball Club Championship Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) has started the championship on a positive note recording back-to-back victories in their two matches. 

The games that threw off on Sunday, May 8, 2022, in Kelibia, Tunisia, saw KPA overcome a strong Madda side from Ethiopia in a 5 sets thriller 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 28-26, 25-21, 15-13) victory to open Pool C with a big win. 

In the second match, KPA covered well to beat  Injis in 3-0 straight sets of 25-15, 25-17, and 25-17. 

In the other representative Equity Bank started on a low note, losing both of their opening matches, going down to Gisagara of Rwanda 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 17-25, 18-25) and 3-0 (25-, 21, 25-12, 25-19) to Customs of Nigeria in Pool D.
