Agai Mixed Secondary and Katolo Mixed Secondary boys’ football teams face possible disqualifications over impersonation and fielding ineligible players during the Kisumu County Secondary School ball games, as uncertainty looms over dates for replays.

In an interview with People Sport yesterday, the county ball games vice-secretary Milka Matiku disclosed that stern actions will be taken against the two schools for breaching the rules of the secondary school ball games.

“Agai and Katolo face possible disqualification from the postponed county boys’ football final. The upper level, county ball games disputes jury, received petitions at the semi-finals stage against Agai and Katolo, from Kisumu Boys and Kisumu Day Secondary, respectively, accusing and alleging the two schools’ football teams engaged in impersonation and fielded ineligible players,” Matiku explained.

Matiku said the petitions were appropriately filed by Kisumu Boys and Kisumu Day as per the games’ guiding rules at the two football semi-final stages, played at the competition venue Maseno School.
