Gor surrender 2-0 to share spoils with Posta Rangers

The race for the 2022/23 FKF- Premier League seems to be heading to the wire with the two top contenders not interested in bucking down just yet with about 10 rounds to play in the season.
Incidentally Gor Mahia threw away a 2-0 first half lead to tie 2-2 with mailmen Posta Rangers yesterday at the Nyayo Stadium. Red hot Benson Omalla scored his 23rd goal of the campaign after hitting a brace in the 6th and 26th minute of play.This was his second brace inside four days after his exploits down at the Coast Wednesday following a 2-1 win over Bandari FC. K’Ogalo are now on 53 points as they gear up for a fierce clash this weekend against law enforcers-Police FC.
Both goals came off steady supply from the right win courtesy of Boniface Omaondi who was constantly a menace alongside the duo of Austin Odhiambo and Ugandan ace Peter Lwasa with the pair being later on substituted.

At the Kasarani Stadium,Zedekiah Otieno’s KCB FC beat hapless Wazito FC 2-0 to keep alive an outside chance of breaking the order at the top.
The former moneybags seemed helpless for most of the part as the Bankers toted with them especially in their defensive areas.KCB had their goals in the first half courtesy of two defenders in the shape of Kennedy Owino (18th minute) and Kevin Okumu(34th minute). Wazito had their moments on the ball but we’re blunt upfront giving the Bankers easy time to regroup. KCB are now on fourth with 48 points off 25 matches with a goal difference of +14.
In other results,third placed Nzoia Sugar FC are still enjoying their best run so far in the League following a 3-0 home win against staggering Mathare United.Salim Babu’s men has endeavored to make the Sudi Stadium backyard a slaughterhouse this season Their goals in this game were netted via James Kibande in the 23rd minute and second half goals courtesy of dangerman John Mwangi in the 66th minute and Alfred Tanui in the 95th minute to keep them at 48 points with a goal difference of +19.
