Ulinzi Starlets, aiming to defend their FKF Women’s Cup title after winning it for the past two editions, advanced to the final by defeating Kenya Police Bullets 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The champions will not only lift the prestigious FKF Women’s Cup trophy but also receive a cash prize.

The women's final comes days after Kenya Police claimed the 2024 FKF Cup Men's title over KCB after a tense 8-7 victory in penalty shootouts.

The match had ended goalless after regulation and extra time.

Patrick Matasi sealed the victory with the winning penalty, securing a CAF Confederation Cup berth and a prize of Kshs 2 million for Kenya Police.

AFC Leopards’ Arthur Gitego was awarded the Golden Boot, while David Owino of Kenya Police earned the Most Valuable Player accolade.

FKF Cup awards

Goalkeeper Patrick Matasi was honoured with the Golden Glove award for maintaining four clean sheets throughout the tournament.

Meanwhile, AFC Leopards secured third place in the Mozzart Bet Cup Tournament by defeating Kariobangi Sharks 2-1.
