Harambee Stars utility player, Clarke Oduor, has returned to training with Bradford City following a minor groin issue.
After an impressive start at the club, Oduor had to sit out the last two Bradford City matches.
Clarke Oduor trains
Manager Mark Hughes has now confirmed his return to training and hopes to have him available for selection in the upcoming weekend matches.
“Clarke trained today, and he should be available as long as he doesn’t get a reaction. We monitored his training to a certain extent. He didn’t play a full part; it was just about easing him in,” Hughes stated at a press conference.
Clarke Oduor weekend involved
“Thursdays can be quite brisk because, more often than not after a Tuesday game, the lads who weren’t involved get more of a session. We’ll see how he is, but the hope is that he can be involved for the weekend,” he added.
Losing Oduor temporarily was regrettable for Bradford, but it was a precautionary measure. Hughes explained, “It was a shame (to lose him) but he did the right thing. He just felt his groin being a little bit stiff on longer passing last Friday in training.”
Bradford City is gearing up to face Mansfield on Saturday with the aim of climbing into the top half of the Football League Two table.
Oduor has been recalled to the Harambee Stars squad after missing out on the four nations tournament.
