Beyond Hoops Africa spreads wings with an inclusive basketball camp

Beyond Hoops Africa, a non-governmental sports organisation, conducted the 2024 Grow and Grind basketball camp for youths on Monday at Dagoretti High School in Nairobi County.

The Grow & Grind 2024 basketball camp, in partnership with Dan Okeyo, a former Kenyan basketball player based in Boston, USA, celebrated the sport as a powerful tool for social inclusion, fostering friendship, community unity, creating pathways to education, and unlocking opportunities for sports youths and businesses in Kenya.

“If Kenya wants to be on the world map with basketball, we must start giving these young players a chance to train with the best and experience quality basketball training on good courts, with good balls, and expose them to several camps. Kenya will be up there in Africa and the world,” stated the former Kenyan basketball player based in the USA.
