ADAK suspends 21 more over doping offences

The Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya (ADAK) has released the names of 21 provisionally suspended athletes.

Harambee Stars and Tusker midfielder Teddy Osok is the only footballer on list of shame from the list posted on the ADAK website, .

Efforts to reach him or his club Tusker for a comment were futile. However, ADAK says Osok is charged with using Boldenone which is a prohibited substance and its Metabolites and his suspension started on 21st March 2022.

Other athletes who have found themselves on the list are; runners Samuel Lomoi, Agatha Jeruto Kimaswai, Esther Kakuri, Everlyne Syombua, Lydia Simiyu, Mathew Kiplangat Sawe, Alice Aprot, Vincent Koskei, Michael Saruni, Stella Barsosio, Commerce Taki, Gloria Kite, Georgina Jepkirui, Priscilla Tabunda and Michael Kibett.

The three bodybuilders are Oluoch Brandon, Joseph Wasike and Jotham Karani while Perister Morangi is the only Judo player to make the list.

Athletes are enticed to use Boldenone due to its ability to increase muscle mass and strength.
