Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been released on Sh15 cash bail after facing graft related charges.
In his ruling, anti-corruption court Chief Magistrate Douglas Ogoti however barred the governor from accessing his office until his case is heard and determined.
Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the accused persons have also been warned from commenting about the matter on social media.
Sonko and his co-accused persons have been ordered to deposit all their passports with the court.
The case will be mentioned on January 15, 2020.
