KCB Football Club has unveiled seven new signings for the 2024/2025 season as the team aims to secure its maiden Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF-PL) title.

The new arrivals include goalkeeper Boniface Munyasa from Murang’a Seal FC, defender Lameck Oloo from Bidco United, midfielder Mathew Agal from Nairobi United, midfielder Dennis Maruti from Murang’a Seal FC, winger James Kinyanjui and striker Francis Kahiro from Bandari FC, and winger Patrick Otieno from Posta Rangers.

Speaking about the new signings during a training session in Karen, KCB FC head coach Patrick Odhiambo noted, “Our objective for this season is to clinch the Kenya Premier League title. To achieve that against some of the best teams in the league, we need a strong squad with depth. This is why we have gone all out in the market to acquire the best players to help us achieve our dream.”

The Bankers have so far played one league match this season against Kariobangi Sharks, which ended in a goalless draw.

The team is expected to resume action next Saturday away to Murang’a Seal.

“I feel ready for the challenge after spending two seasons in Mombasa. This is a very demanding league, but I hope to score many goals and provide regular assists to help KCB achieve its objectives. It feels nostalgic to be back home playing for this badge once more. I know the environment, some of the players, and the culture within KCB. I am optimistic we will have a good season,” returning attacker Kahiro added.
