Here is what you need to know in order to get up to speed with today’s happenings.

Kisumu Tourism Week 

The county government of Kisumu through the Directorate of Tourism under its marketing campaign initiative dubbed #KisumumyPride and its partners came together to organize the inaugural Kisumu Tourism Week.

The five-day event, themed towards tourism and green investments, kicks off today September 23 to September 27, 2023.

The activities will include; tree planting under the city greening initiative, Kisumu city 21km race, clean-up activities, conferences, exhibitions and entertainment.

KPL

Kenya Premier League (KPL) will today witness four matches; AFC Leopards face off with Police FC, Tusker will clash with Muhoroni Youth, Kariobangi Sharks take on Shabana FC while Bidco United face Talanta FC.

EPL

Five matches will today be played in the English Premier League (EPL) with Manchester United desperate for a win after a streak of three consecutive losses to Arsenal, Brighton, and Bayern Munich in the Champions League group stage.

13th-placed Man United face Burnley who sit at position 19th on the table. Burnley are desperate for their first win of the season as they have only managed three consecutive losses and a draw since the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

Top-placed Manchester City face Nottingham, Crystal Palace will be up against Fulham, Wolves face Luton while Everton take on Brentford.
