Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga has insisted that reggae has not stopped and that the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) rallies shall resume.

Raila was speaking from his home in Karen on April 10 in an interview with Radio Citizen.

On BBI, he said the task force spearheading the initiative is still on and when normalcy resumes, the team will hand over the report.

Asked why he has not been in the frontline in mobilising food resources for needy Kenyans with the aggressiveness he has for politics, the ODM chief said he has at least helped the needy with food.

Raila asked the politicians who have been donating money to churches to direct the funds to the needy.

On if the government should direct the BBI money to the fight against Covid-19, Raila said much of the BBI budget was contribution from individuals.

About his recent donation at Kibera, Raila responded that he alone cannot feed all the needy Kenyans and he asked politicians to follow suit.

Raila, however, said Kenya should not hide names of politicians confirmed to have Coronavirus.

He cited Germany and the UK which revealed their leaders who had coronavirus.
