IEBC has accepted Roots party presidential candidate, Professor George Wajackoyah to run for the top seat.
IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said the commission after scrutinizing his papers met all the thresholds hence giving him the green light to vie.
“We gave you a second chance and as a commission, we are happy to announce that you have met all the requirements. You have enough supporters”, said Chebukati.
Wajacoyah said now focus shifts to the campaign promising to have peace campaigns.
He said his main agenda is to legalize bhang for economic use.
“We will ensure that Bunyore becomes a county that grows bhang for economic use,” he said.
He also thanked IEBC for making the process fair and equal for all.
