“Join us in solidarity as we support Patrick Odongo’s father, Joanes Okongo Orondo, who is scheduled for corrective heart surgery at the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital. He urgently requires Ksh 1.5 million to cover the expenses, and we appeal to the rugby community and compassionate Kenyans to donate to this critical cause,” the statement stated.

Donations can be made to Paybill number: 400200, account number: 428991 (George Owino Orondo).

Okongo will need 18 pints of blood for the surgery, and individuals willing to donate can visit the Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital for blood donations.

“Furthermore, 18 pints of blood are needed, and we encourage individuals to donate blood directly at KUTRH for patient Joanes Okongo Orondo. Blood group O+ is required. Every contribution counts towards saving a life. Let’s stand together in this time of need,” Kenya 7s emphasized.
