Wrangles surrounding the Embakasi ranching company seem to be far from over after a woman who bought two plots recently revealed that they were resold to another buyer.

Nancy Muthoni Mbugua said that she has been left homeless and she is appealing to the authorities to intervene and help her recover her plots. Legitimate owner After falling into a coma for a while Muthoni said that she got better and started pursuing her two plots which were 50 by 100 each only for her to learn that her plots had been sold to two other people.

“When I came back from hospital and started following up on my two plots the person who sold my plots was shocked and asked you are still alive and I was told you are dead?” Muthoni explained.

Muthoni explained that she went to the land-selling company to establish why and how her land was occupied by another party.

“When I went to Embakasi ranching they showed me their records clearly indicate that I am the legitimate owner of the plots and when we go to the DCI those people don’t have the papers I produce the papers but I don’t understand why these people can’t give me my plots so that I can have a place to call home,” She explained in despair.

Muthoni said that she had already paid all the dues on the plots the only thing remaining was processing the titles. She is now calling on the authorities to help her get back her land because she has depleted all her resources to pursue her 2 plots while still nursing a stroke.
