What matters is good health, Kiunjuri says
Following his sacking by President Uhuru Kenyatta, outgoing Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture Mwangi Kiunjuri has said he was not surprised by the sacking.
Addressing press conference at Serena Hotel on January 14, Kiunjuri added that he endured a lot of humiliation while serving at different dockets in the government.
“I have endured a lot of humiliation while serving as the Cabinet Secretary… I am not surprised by the President’s decision,” said Kiunjuri.

Kiunjuri also said what matters most in life is good health and he was grateful that he had it throughout his service as the CS.
“What matters most is good health and it was granted to me all throughout,” said Kiunjuri during his speech.

Asked of his plans in politics, Kiunjuri answered he was going nowhere.
Kiunjuri has in the past few months taken a strong political stand which was interpreted as defiance against his boss, President Kenyatta.
