Message to motorists
Ahead of the Easter season, Wetang’ula appealed to motorists to drive carefully to avoid causing accidents.
Wetang’ula advised them to consider other road users and drive while observing all the traffic rules during the upcoming Easter season, which is expected to be characterised by increased movements across the country.
Good Friday will be on April 18, 2025, Easter Sunday on April 20, 2025, and Easter Monday on April 21, 2025.
Various people are expected to celebrate with their families, while other Christians are expected to convene in various places of worship to celebrate this important occasion.

“Our roads are not just pathways to destinations; they are shared spaces that demand care, patience, and above all, respect for life.”
