Wetang’ula calls on Kenyans to celebrate Ruto’s vision on his birthday

In a post on his X account on Sunday, December 21, 2025, Wetang’ula praised the President’s commitment to national transformation and expressed hope for continued progress under his leadership.
“Happy Birthday, H.E. President (Dr.) William Ruto. I extend warmest wishes as you mark new beginnings. Your renewed vision and boundless opportunities for our nation continue to inspire us,” Wetang’ula stated.
Leadership tribute
The Speaker highlighted what he described as Ruto’s inspiring leadership and dedication to shaping Kenya’s future trajectory.
According to Wetang’ula, the President’s vision continues to provide direction for the nation’s development agenda.
“May this year bring you strength, wisdom, and joy as you continue to shape Kenya’s future,” the Speaker said in his birthday message.
Wetang’ula expressed optimism about the coming year, calling for greater achievements under Ruto’s leadership.
“Here’s to another year of greater leadership, service, and progress for Kenya. Wishing you a remarkable day my brother, Mr President,” he added.
Birthday wishes
Other leaders across government have joined in celebrating Ruto’s birthday, with messages highlighting various aspects of his administration’s achievements.
In a statement posted on his X account on December 21, 2025, Nandi County Senator Samson Cheraragei commended Ruto’s leadership in transforming Kenya’s economic trajectory.
“Happy Birthday, Mr President, Dr William Samoei Ruto, under your transformational leadership, Kenya will move from a third-world country to a first-world country. It means simply the road to Singapore remains UNSTOPPABLE!!” he stated.
Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura offered prayers for the President’s continued leadership.
“Happy birthday President William Samoei Ruto. May our dear LORD continue to guide and protect you as you serve and lead this great country Kenya,” Mwaura said.
Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano praised Ruto’s impact on Kenya’s tourism sector.
“Happy Birthday, H.E. President William Ruto! Your visionary leadership has fueled Kenya’s tourism boom—more visitors, jobs for youth, empowered communities. Grateful for your bold steps toward a brighter future. Here’s to another year of progress and impact,” Miano stated in a post on her X account.
