By Kiprono Keileb, November 25, 2025Kenya Meteorological Department has issued a fresh weather alert, warning Kenyans to brace for a week marked by soaring temperatures and unexpected showers in some parts of the country.
The department says most regions will experience sunny and dry conditions, but several pockets across the nation should expect scattered rainfall as November comes to a close.
According to the department’s post on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the weatherman said the forecast for the week of November 25 to December 1, 2025, shows a clear split between regions heating up and others getting brief rainfall.

“Rainfall is expected in a few areas across the Central Highlands, Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, the Coast, the South-eastern Lowlands, and Western Kenya,” the statement reads
The forecast highlights a period of intense heat, especially during the day, with temperatures expected to rise above 30°C in several counties. The Met Department said daytime conditions will be particularly hot in parts of North-eastern.
“Daytime: Temperatures above 30°C are expected in the Coast, North-eastern, North-western Kenya, and parts of the South-eastern Lowlands, Rift Valley, and Western Kenya,” the statement reads.
