We will continue flying to China, KQ maintains

National carrier Kenya Airways(KQ) has maintained that it will not cancel flights to China despite the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus disease.
Acting KQ boss Allan Kivaluka also revealed that the carrier will continue flying to China unless there is ‘imminent’ danger.
Since the coronavirus outbreak was announced in the Wuhan Province of China, some airlines have cancelled all flights to China.
“Cancellation of the flights is on the table but we are monitoring and we will take the action as soon as there’s imminent danger(sic),” said Kivaluka on January 29.

On Sunday, a passenger aboard a KQ flight arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) showing symptoms of coronavirus.
The passenger has since been put in isolation at Kenyatta National Hospital awaiting test results.
Today, the health ministry is expected to announce the test results for the patient.
In China, BBC News announced that the death toll had risen to 106 by yesterday with over 4,500 infections reported.
