Wanjiru seeks support for bottom-up model

By , June 17, 2022

Kenya Kwanza Nairobi county senatorial candidate Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, yesterday intensified her campaigns urging city residents to embrace the bottom-up economic model.

Wanjiru, who toured the larger Eastlands area, said bottom-up was the best model for city residents, who majorly depend on their small businesses for daily upkeep.

“Our leader has the best model for Nairobi. Bottom-up is designed for us. If elected to the Senate, I will ensure that I work closely with the county government and the Executive to ensure that we positively change the lives of those Kenyans living in slums,” she said.

Wanjiru called upon the electorate to make a wise decision on August 9 and elect the leaders with a proven track record.

Wanjiru is set to battle for the seat with Azimio candidate; ODM secretary-General Edwin Sifuna.
