Vanessa Mdee and lover Rotimi are new parents

Tanzanian songbird Vanessa Mdee and American actor, singer, and model Rotimi have welcomed their newborn baby.
The baby boy has been named Seven Adeoluwa Akinosho. Following the couple’s announcement on their respective social media platforms, celebrities trooped online to offer their congratulatory messages to the first-time parents.
Some of them included singer Akothee, actress Wema Sepetu, TV personality-cum-politician Jokate Mwegelo, musician Nakaaya Sumari, radio personality Mwalimu Rachael and TV host Talia Oyando.
The two—who currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia—made public their relationship in 2019.
Vanessa, an ex-lover to bongo star Juma Jux, is known for her jams such as Niroge, Juu, Me And You and Moyo.
Rotimi (born in Maplewood, New Jersey, to Nigerian parents) is known for his role as Darius Morrison on the TV series Boss, and Andre Coleman on series Power.
He’s also released a couple of R&B songs including Love Somebody, Decide, What To Do and In My Bed.
