Uhuru announces new venue for Jubilee Party NDC

Jubilee Party leader Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday, May 20 announced a new venue for the party National Delegates Conference (NDC).

Uhuru said the party delegates will convene at Ngong Race Course and not Bomas of Kenya as earlier announced.

“Notice is hereby given that the venue of the Jubilee NDC has been moved to Ngong Race Course, Nairobi.

“All other details remain as per the notice published on April 29,” a notice signed by Uhuru in the local daily read in part.

The meeting will be held on Monday, May 22.

Jubilee denied to use Bomas

The party had booked Bomas of Kenya with an alternative of Kasarani Indoor Auditorium and the ASK Show Ground.

They were, however, denied access to the venues.

In a notice published in a local daily on Saturday, April 29, Uhuru said the agenda of the meeting will be to review, formulate, and approve party policies; receive status report from the National Executive Committee; and consider and approve any other matters.
