TVETA announces vacancy for Director General position

In a notice shared on its MyGov X account on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the authority outlined the duties, responsibilities and appointment requirements for the top leadership position.
Interested applicants have been directed to submit their applications before the deadline set for June 9, 2026.
TVETA noted that the recruitment exercise seeks to identify a suitable candidate to steer the authority’s mandate in regulating and coordinating technical and vocational education and training across the country.
The position is considered key in strengthening skills development and improving standards within TVET institutions nationwide, which play a critical role in preparing learners for the labour market.

Meanwhile ,Geothermal Development Company has also invited qualified candidates to apply for the position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
In an advertisement shared on its official channels, the state corporation posed the question: “Do you wish to lead Kenya’s sustainable energy future?” as it announced the recruitment drive for the senior leadership role.
The company stated that interested applicants are required to visit its official website for application details at http://gdc.co.ke, with the deadline for submissions set for June 25, 2026.
The recruitment seeks to identify a leader to steer the organisation’s mandate in developing geothermal energy resources as part of Kenya’s broader push towards sustainable and renewable energy solutions.
