Ruto’s Western tour

President William Ruto is continuing his Western tour, now on its second day.

This visit, occurring just five months after his previous one, involves visiting the four sub-counties of Bungoma North, Webuye East and West, and Bungoma South.

During his tour, President Ruto aims to address the challenges faced by the struggling sugar sector in the region.

EPZA former CEO embezzlement case

The judgement of former CEO of Export Processing Zones (EPZA) Richard Mtule and Maingi Muriithi who are charged with fraudulent acquisition of public property, and abuse of office is today, Friday, February 2, 2024. Allegations relate to embezzlement at EPZA.

The judgement will be at Milimani Anti-Corruption Court.

AFCON quarterfinals

The quarterfinal stage of the 2024 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) kicks off on February 2, 2024. Nigeria is set to take on Angola as the teams vie for a spot in the next round.
