Ruto flagging off Community Health Promoters’ kits

After his trip to the US, President William Ruto is expected to flag off the Community Health Promoters’ kits at Uhuru Park.

These kits aim to empower and equip Community Health Promoters with essential tools to enhance healthcare access and promote healthier communities.

Senate Mashinani:

Senate Mashinani sessions are set to convene in Turkana County, marking the first time these sessions have been conducted outside Nairobi since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, similar sittings were held in Uasin Gishu and Kitui Counties in September 2018 and September 2019, respectively.

The primary goals of these sessions are to raise awareness about the Senate’s role and activities, promote public engagement in the legislative process, and strengthen partnerships at the county government level.

Defense Cooperation Agreement:

Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Defense, Aden Duale, and the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Lloyd J. Austin III, are scheduled to sign a Defense Cooperation Agreement on Monday afternoon at Defense Headquarters in Nairobi.

This agreement follows bilateral discussions between President William Ruto and the U.S. Government during the United Nations General Assembly in New York, USA.

The signing aims to enhance and streamline the Kenya-U.S. Defense Cooperation Framework, with a focus on regional stability and security.

Moses Kuria’s CAIP Launch:

Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Trade, Moses Kuria, will be in the coastal town of Mombasa to launch the County Aggregation Industrial Park (CAIP) in Jomvu.

The event is expected to be attended by Mombasa County Governor Abdullswamad Sherrif Nassir. This launch follows Moses Kuria’s recent trip to Kisii for a similar CAIP launch.
