Here is what you need to know in order to get up to speed with today’s happenings.
Grand Nairobi Bike Race
The Grand Nairobi Bike Race will be held today at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
The event sponsored by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) is meant to promote safe cycling and to provide a better non-motorized transport infrastructure.

Following the event, sections of Uhuru Highway, Parliament Road, Aerodrome Road and Parliament Road will be closed from 6 am to 2 pm to pave way.
Power blackout
Kenya Power on Saturday announced that four counties will experience a power blackout today.
The counties, Kajiado, Trans Nzoia, Machakos, and Uasin Gishu will go without power for five to nine hours. The utility company said the planned interruptions are part of routine maintenance.

Continuation of National Super League Action
The National Super League features will continue today with four matches which will be hosted by Mumias, Utalii, Ukunda, and Migori.
Return of FKF Premier League
The Football Kenya Federation Premier League action will continue today with Gor Mahia battling Muhoroni Youth, Nzoia Sugar will face Kenya Police and Ulinzi Stars will face Kakamega Homeboyz.
