President William Ruto’s tour

President William Ruto is set to continue his four-day development tour of the Luo Nyanza region with a visit to Migori County. The President’s visit follows his recent official launch of Raila’s bid on Wednesday.

During his time in Migori, President Ruto is expected to inaugurate several key projects, including the Kegonga Cluster Water Project and the Ngere-Mapera Road. He will also inspect the Lower Kuja Irrigation Project, which is crucial for the region’s agricultural development.

Governor Ochilo Ayacko hopes to leverage the visit to present key memoranda, including requests for the completion of the Masara-Sori Road, the operationalization of the Getonganya Sweet Potato Processing Plant, and the resolution of border disputes with Narok County.

Judgment in Milimani

A judgment is anticipated at the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court regarding Moses Kesaine, former Governor of Samburu, and 13 others.

The accused face charges of conspiracy to commit corruption, abuse of office, and conflict of interest, as per the EACC.

The allegations involve the unlawful payment of Ksh 84.8 million to Oryx Service Station, which was owned by Lenolkulal, for fuel supplied to the Samburu County Government.

AFC Leopards to unveil new partners

AFC Leopards are set to announce new partners ahead of the FKF Premier League break. The launch event will take place in Hurlingham at 10:30 a.m.

This announcement comes on the heels of a strong start to the season for the Leopards, who secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Mathare United in their first-round match at Dandora Stadium.
