The Flight Attendant is an eight-part series that follows Cassandra, a flight attendant who flies, drinks and sleeps with different men all around the globe.

It is the front row seat to this arresting drama that sees us watch Cassandra wake-up half drunk next to a hot dead body of rich Alex after a night out around Bangkok, Thailand.

She finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery. Kaley Cuoco reprises the character of a well-meaning but alcoholic girl much like she did on The Big Bang Theory.

She shines in this role and manages to play the character in a nuanced way that keeps the drama and the comedy tightly balanced.

The story follows her, as she tries to unravel who killed Alex. Her best friend who just happens to be a criminal lawyer is perpetually perplexed by her stupid decisions, which make her more of a suspect.

The series has a strong ensemble cast who shine all way through. The show is available on Showmax.

My only warning is that you should probably start it over a weekend. Otherwise you might end up being red-eyed and distracted at work. SCORE: 8/10
