Sierra Leone’s President Bio arrives in Kenya for 5-day State visit
Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Wonie Bio on Saturday evening arrived in Kenya for a 5-day stay State visit.
President Bio was received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Rachel Omamo.

“The President is in the country for five days State Visit. He is expected to meet his host President Uhuru Kenyatta for bilateral talks aimed at strengthening relations between the two countries,” the ministry said in a statement.
President Bio be the chief guest during Madaraka Day

Kenya and Sierra Leone are expected to sign seven Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening trade relations between the two countries.
“H.E Wonie Bio will be the Chief Guest during Madaraka Day celebrations and will grace today’s (Sunday’s) International Day of UN Peacekeepers to be celebrated at International Peace Support Centre in Embakasi,” the ministry added.
