Form Four leavers who attained grade D plain and above have been urged to apply for the National Youth Service (NYS) training.

The chairperson of the Parliamentary Social Protection Committee Alice Ng’ang’a (Thika Town) urged young people to grab the opportunity that will inculcate in them team spirit and discipline.

Ng’ang’a (pictured) said successful youths will benefit from free vocational and technical courses that will propel them to  jobs locally and internationally.

“All the young people who have not been able to undergo training in institutions of higher learning  should grab this opportunity. They will receive courses fully funded by the government,” she said.
