Ruto-Raila soft handshake has restored peace – MP

Sirisia MP John Waluke has lauded the new found political friendship between President William Ruto and Opposition leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking in Siaya town during a fundraiser at the St Pantaleon Catholic Church, the lawmaker said unity between the two top leaders has led to peace and revival of the country’s investment climate.

According to Waluke, President Ruto’s recent endorsement of Raila for the Africa Union Commission (AUC) chairmanship post has quelled the political temperatures recently witnessed in the country and fostered normalcy. 

He he said if by chance the duo gets an outfit that brings them together, they can rule the country in peace and Kenyans can continue co existing as  brothers and sisters.
