A Member of the East African Legislative Assembly is reportedly gloating over the mounting woes of his home county governor.

The MP, who was nominated to the assembly after failing to defend his seat in the Kenyan Parliament, is said to have literally taken over the day-to-day running of county affairs after the governor was embroiled in a court case.

The politicians is said to be holding daily meetings with the embattled governor before relaying instructions and orders to the county executive committee members and other employees.
