Raila vows to expose how IEBC bungled elections

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga has maintained his sustained attacks on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Speaking during the burial ceremony of Otieno Ajuma, his wife’s bodyguard, the former premier affirmed that he was going to ‘expose’ how the electoral body bungled the August 9 election.

“Those celebrating over a presidential victory will be shocked very soon when the truth about the presidency rigging strategies is revealed,” Raila stated.

While attacking the commission, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader urged his supporters not to lose hope over the elections noting that Ruto’s win will be shortlived.

“I want to tell Kenyans not to despair or lose hope over the bungled Elections, we are seeking the right direction that will put our country into the right trajectory,” Raila stated.

Raila goes after Ruto

The former premier who was accompanied by his wife Ida Odinga, Siaya Governor James Orengo, Siaya Senator Oburu Oginga, Deputy Governor William Oduol, Rarieda Member of Parliament (MP) Otiende Amollo further criticized president Ruto’s administration for failing to reduce the cost of fuel prices and Unga prices within the timeline he stated during the campaign period.

He also criticized the head of state for exposing Kenyans to GMO foods despite being unfit for human consumption.

“Ruto is trying to coerce Kenyans to accept GMO food while research has proved beyond reasonable doubt that its unfit for human consumption,” he added.

He added that he will lobby parliamentarians and Senates to reject Ruto the decision.

Raila castigates luo leaders

He also called out a section of leaders from the Luo community for causing division in the community at a time they ought to stand in solidarity with him.

The opposition leader urged the Luo community to disregard such leaders stating that they were pushing for selfish interests.

“I am not going anywhere until our people are left in good hands,” Raila added.
