Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga has arrived in Kilifi for the burial of Rabai Member of Parliament (MP) William Kamoti who died on Sunday night.

Kamoti perished in a road accident at Maziwa in Mnarani near Kilifi town along the Mombasa-Malindi highway.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred at around 9.30 pm.

Raila mourns Kamoti

Raila described Kamoti as a very intelligent legislator whose counsel helped ODM to develop a strong footing in Kilifi County.

“He was a very intelligent man. He was like my younger brother,” Raila mourned him.

Kamoti left behind a wife and four children.

His driver is fighting for his life at the Kilifi County Hospital.
