Public Service Commission invites applications for over 40 vacancies

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced 44 vacancies in various state departments.

In a public notice on Tuesday, October 24, PSC CEO Simon Kibet said the commission is seeking to recruit five senior employees to fill the positions of principal management analysts.

The Commission is searching for four principal human resource management and development officers as well as two human resource management and development officers.

Other vacant positions include performance management and service delivery transformation officer (3), principal legal Officer (2), legal officer (1), principal monitoring and evaluation officer (2), principal governance and ethics officer (2), principal compliance and audit officer (4) and senior support staff (2).

Others are reception assistant (2), office administrative assistant (10), finance officer (1), accountant (1), risk management officer (1), information systems auditor (1) and supply chain management officer (1).

Interested candidates have until November 14 to submit their applications.

“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the Commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke so as to reach the Commission on or before 14th November, 2023 (Latest 5 pm East African Time),” the notice reads.

Recent PSC vacancies

Last month, the commission, tasked with managing human resources in the civil service and local authorities, advertised 395 positions.

The largest number of openings were in the State Department for Immigration and Citizen Service, where the commission sought to recruit 315 civil registration officers.

PSC also declared dozens of vacancies for the valuation assistants in the State Department for Lands and Physical Planning and senior principal laboratory technologists in the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration.
