President Barack Obama’s aunt dies aged 80

Hawa Obama, the sister to US President Brack Obama’s father has passed on.
According to family, Hawa died shortly before 1am on Thursday, November 25.
Confirming her death, Hawa’s son Razick Amuna said she will be laid to rest at her home in Kokal village, Oyugis today as dictated by the Islam religion.
Her family says their patriarch had been ailing for quite sometime after she suffered a stroke more than two years ago.
Hawa was admitted at Rachuonyo District Hospital for nine days before she was discharged last week.
The deceased passed on eight months after Mama Sarah Onyango Obama, the grandmother to President Obama died.
Hawa was married to the late Senior Chief Magak Odek who died in 1993.
